It was an epic day for our students! Mr. Herb Smith, a classical and jazz musician playing trumpet in the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra for almost 30 years, accomplished conductor, composer and teacher worked with our 5th graders today!
Mrs. Lowenguth's students collaborated to learn about famous women and then created posters for Women's History Month. Finally, they did a gallery walk to learn from each other!
A snowy day is the perfect day for some indoor fun!

Big day today!! Science Fair is happening now at LP. Students are sharing their hard work with their peers. Some students have been chosen to record their projects so we can share with our community.
The LP Science Fair is amazing! Come out tonight between 7-8pm and see what these kids learned! Netsins will also be here selling $4 sundaes and the book fair and art show will be open!
These 3rd grade students are playing games to make equivalent fractions and then teaching each other step by step how they found them!

Also, Netsin's Ice Cream truck will be on site during the science fair! All science fair students will be given a coupon for a free sundae on us! Ice cream will be available for purchase for all other family members.

It's a very exciting day in the library, as Lance, our library pumpkin has finally sprouted! We have been watching 'him' go through the life cycle since October!
Every week, we do a drawing with any HEART tickets earned by students. The winners get to choose adults around the building to have a fun experience. Congrats to these students for earning an ice cream party! 🍦💕
