Over 225 EI students and their families joined us for our LEGO Family Nights! 🎉 Everyone had a blast building their own Awesome LEGO Vehicles and enjoying some delicious pizza. 🍕 These fantastic events were made possible thanks to the support of Community Schools, The Center for Youth and the Stronger Connections Grant. Ivan Green students continued with Career Week presentations and got to see what a plumber does today! Students were able to do hands-on activities with pipes, bolts and other materials. They even got to try on different plumbing gear! ⚙️🚿💧🛠️

Today, Ivan Green kindergartners had fun learning about what a superintendent does! Mrs. Grow captivated them with a story, treated them to yummy snacks, and listened to their thoughts on improving their school. 🌟

Ivan Green Kindergarteners had an exciting lesson about what a Physician Assistant does! 🩺✨ They explored the tools in a doctor's bag, colored their own versions, and learned how each tool helps keep people healthy. The highlight? Trying out the blood pressure cuff and thermometer like real healthcare professionals! #LancerPride

Ivan Green students and staff have been on an incredible journey to reach their BEAR (Be Enthusiastic About Reading) Goal of 4,000 books. 🐻📚 With the help of their lovable mascot, Lance the Bear, and his friend Mrs. Dunn, who have been spreading the joy of reading on the morning show, they've been inspired to read more and more each day!
Students and staff didn't just meet their goal— They surpassed it by reading a whopping 4,110 books! 🎉👏 To celebrate this fantastic achievement, every student received a special bookmark featuring Lance. 📖✨ #LancerPride

Our IG families enjoyed a celebration of learning this afternoon! We are so proud of our kindergarteners who have been learning all about the five senses. Students participated in stations where they could use each sense with their families. 👁️👂

Today, Ms. Suppa's class had an exciting visit to the library! They listened to the story of the Gingerbread Man and, when he encountered the fox halfway through, the students brainstormed creative ways for him to escape. They disguised their gingerbread men and built boats, bridges, or traps to outsmart the fox. 🦊🍪📚
