
A is for ART Day! Students enjoyed experimenting with origami and other art projects throughout the day as we count down the last 26 days of the school year!

This morning we were treated to a preview of tonight's 4th grade concert! What a talented group of musicians we have!



Cassidy Chainyk and Laurel Loewenguth's third graders at LP have been learning about immigration & studying Japanese culture in their ELA curriculum. To celebrate, they enjoyed tea, Japanese snacks, and practiced Kanji writing in their classroom decorated as a Japanese teahouse!

Our Kindness Spirit Week has been a blast. Our Future Leaders of Tomorrow group hung up notes of kindness on every students locker this morning! 💕


The theme of STEM club is Movie Magic. The three choices are green screen effects, foley sound effects, and miniature photography. Students did an amazing job the first day making mini movies and animations!

During lunch, the LP library transformed into a Swiftie haven as fans gathered to celebrate the latest album drop from Taylor Swift. Students listened to her music, played a trivia game about her and sang her songs. Maggie the therapy dog came dressed in her Chief's jersey.

🎵Music in Our Schools Month ended on a high note 🎵! The Music in Our Schools Month Concert was spectacular, featuring ensembles from all the schools. The concert closed with the LP and DE 5th grade and Eastridge bands performing the world debut of 'Iron Gate Overture' composed specifically for our district by composer Tom Davis.
