Dear Lancer Families,
The New York State Department of Health has clarified that extracurricular activities and all school-sanctioned events that take place after school or on weekends, evenings or holidays are not permitted under the Test to Stay protocols issued at the end of October 2021. Students participating in Test to Stay may only attend their academic periods during the regular school day as long as their daily, rapid antigen test results are negative. This is a shift in the policy announced by the Monroe County Department of Public Health which had allowed for school-sanctioned events.
I have attached a copy of the East Irondequoit Central School District Test to Stay protocols for your review.
