Required Form for Free School Services
Why Should I Submit the Income Form if There is no Charge for Meals?
Although East Irondequoit families are not charged for breakfast and lunch meals served in school because the district participates in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), income forms must still be submitted to school as they are used to help students qualify for other NYS and Federal programs that are available throughout the year.
Such things like free school supplies, scholarships, travel waivers, MCC credits, and college application waivers, etc. are frequently based on information supplied on the income forms. By submitting a form before school begins each year, your child will not miss out on these opportunities! Please note: You DO NOT need to disclose your income if it is higher than the amounts listed in the Free and Reduced-Price Meal guidelines for your household. Your student(s) will still qualify for free school supplies and services, once you complete the form, no matter your income level.
You may fill out the form in the Parent Portal OR download and submit a paper CEP Household Income Form to the school nutrition office locate in Eastridge High School.
