It was a busy day at DE! First thing this morning we had the Irondequoit Rotary come and donate dictionaries to all of our third graders. Later in the afternoon high school AVID students came to speak to a group of 4th graders on how to be successful students! #ThisIsDE
For Agricultural Literacy Week, Monroe County 4-H educators visited 3rd graders at DE where they read "I Love Strawberries" and participated in agriculture-related activities. Students also got to hear from guest readers County Executive Adam Bello & County Legislator Dave Long!

4H came into DE today to talk about wind energy and renewables with our 3rd graders. Kids and teachers kept saying how much the loved it! #thisisDE
3rd grade classes at DE had a special guest from Monroe County 4-H who led a lesson on "How Energy Can Come From The Wind." Students learned about renewable energy and how farmers around the world rely on a variety of machinery and energy sources to grow their food and raise their animals!
