#ThrowbackThursday is here and it's time to recognize another staff member for #LancersForLife! We’re proud to present Eastridge Social Studies Teacher Jessica Michels! Why did she come back to East Irondequoit after graduation? 🎒🏫
"I love the people who work at Eastridge!"
🤺🛡️🌟

Our Eastridge students were hard at work for the Homecoming hallway decorating competition! The theme this year was fairy tale/folklore. The classes selected: Shrek, Tangled (Rapunzel), The Little Mermaid and Princess and the Frog! 📖🔮

It's Thursday...you know what that means! 😁👏On #ThrowbackThursday we go back in time with our EI alumni during #LancersForLife! EI's Laurelton Pardee School Instrumental Music Teacher/Curriculum Leader David Savine has come full circle with his time as a student and teacher at East Irondequoit.
"I was fortunate to have an opportunity to come back and contribute to the rich legacy of music in East Irondequoit. The music department was a huge part of my development during my formidable years and obviously inspired me to become a music teacher. The music department in East Irondequoit changed my life and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to be a small part of the education of the many students I have taught so far in my career."
🤺🛡️🌟

#LancersForLife is a testament to the ongoing legacy of our alumni, who continue to inspire future generations at EI schools. Next up let's celebrate Laurelton-Pardee Third Grade Teacher Sean Sawyer! 😊
"I came back to East Irondequoit after I graduated so I could give back to the community. It is very important to establish a sense of family and community in the classroom."

Jaclyn Crane's 1st graders at Helendale are practicing their teamwork & counting skills as they prepare to donate to their PTAs coin collection for their chance at a pizza party! They worked in pairs to count out 100 pennies, a great way to review skills learned in kindergarten.

It's #TeamAppreciationTuesday! Shoutout to Deb Walsh, EIMS Teacher. " Deb brings a wealth of knowledge, passion, and care to her classroom each and every day. As a veteran teacher, she is seen as a reliable and supportive leader, and goes out of her way to make sure our students, families, and staff are successful and supported. Her spunk and joyful spirit helps to make EIMS a better place."- Principal Max Zeller
